Painted Live in Atlanta
Born in the firelight of community and music, Embers of Strength was created live on stage with Nahko and Nattali Rize at The Vinyl in Atlanta. This one-of-a-kind 24 x 30” acrylic on canvas painting captures the power of rebirth, resilience, and the guardianship of nature.
At its heart, a glowing campfire breathes upward into a rising phoenix, symbolizing transformation and renewal. The surrounding forest is alive with ancestral faces woven into the trees—protectors watching over the flame. Looming above it all, a bear spirit emerges from the night sky, a cosmic guardian illuminated by starlight and crescent moon.
This piece is both a celebration of strength through struggle and a reminder of the eternal cycle of ashes becoming light.
