Tribute to KNOW Good
Painted live at Ill Fest as a tribute to Houston-based duo KNOW Good, whose music and art I’ve admired for years. Their signature “thumbs down” emoji character gets a surreal 3D twist here — melting, golden, and alive with hidden faces and mushrooms embedded in its form. The forehead features a third eye with sacred geometry radiating from within, symbolizing deeper vision beyond surface emotion. The deep blue and aqua background amplifies the character’s vibrant gold, while the melting edges blur the line between solid form and fluid thought.
