This vibrant 18” x 24” acrylic on canvas piece, titled “Straw Hat Frequencies,” was painted live during an unforgettable show with Mersiv in Jacksonville, Florida. As part of the Morphis Art Cartoon Series, this collaborative painting weaves together two loves—art and storytelling.
The background was painted by my daughter, Serenity Morphis, adding her unique vision and energy to the piece. It was a true family collaboration inspired by our shared passion for the anime One Piece, which we enjoy watching together.
The piece features vivid colors and dynamic energy that mirror both the adventurous spirit of Luffy and the Straw Hat crew, and the bass-driven journey that Mersiv’s music takes listeners on. It represents not just an iconic anime, but also the frequencies of connection, creativity, and collaboration.
